Under the Building Climate Resiliency through Urban Plans and Designs project, innovative approaches on climate-resilient urban plans and designs were demonstrated in the cities of Angeles, Cagayan de Oro, Legazpi, Ormoc, and Tagum.

The case study demonstrates the learning process and experience of Angeles City towards climate resiliency under UN-Habitat’s BCRUPD project.
Considering results of climate and disaster risk assessments and interventions from the BCRUPD Project, the cities of Angeles, Cagayan de Oro, Legazpi, Ormoc, and Tagum formulated their citywide adaptation strategies.
Through the Building Climate Resiliency through Urban Plans and Designs (BCRUPD) Project, five partner cities were able to craft project proposals to promote climate resiliency in their localities.
