Stand Up, Speak Out 2007

stand_up_speak_out_2007_largeManila, October 17 2007 — The UN joined the global millennium campaign on 17 October by organizing a Stand Up, Speak Out event in the Philippines in partnership with the National Anti-Poverty Commission and the ATD 4th World. It adopted the local theme “Kumilos Manindigan, Labanan ang Kahirapan”.

As part of the UN System in the Philippines , UN-HABITAT assisted in the preparation and coordination for the celebration.
